Holiday Movie Schedules to be posted here.

At my house we like to watch Christmas movies and holiday specials.

I’m a little OCD (thank you years at camp) and am all about having schedules and lists and all of that goodness. And yes, that has run into my holiday television viewing (but only holiday television viewing — thank you). And there are so many choices out there through the holiday season, ABC Family and Hallmark and so many of the other networks have so many movies for us to watch. So why watch another go round of Snow 2 Brain Freeze when I can watch Rudolph and the Island of the Misfit Toys? Or How the Grinch Stole Christmas.

So I’ve spent some time pulling together schedules from where I could (still can’t find anything from Nick and that’s a little disappointing).  And since I’ve put all this effort into it, I thought I’d share what I have, so you know when your favorite Christmas movies will be showing, and where to find them.

I’m starting today by posting the movies that will be on the remainder of the week, and in a couple days I’ll post next weeks schedule. After that I’ll continue posting the schedule weekly through Christmas.

There is no guarantee that my schedule is 100 % accurate, but I did the best I could with the information I had available, and I’m 100% certain there are shows I’ve missed.

If I have missed your favorite, let me know and I’ll try to get it included (no promises!!! I only happened to have some free time this week).

Also, all times listed are Eastern – since that’s my timezone, so check local listings to be certain when movies air in your timezone.

So without further commentary, here is November 24- November 28

Update 11/14/09

Hey y’all how’s it going?

Congrats to Tamela and her man and their puppies for getting to move to a new apartment!

Rinn’s been even busier but she’s been making sock bunnies for the wee ones in her family.

Our friends are having a baby girl. I think I’m going to crochet her a blanket.

Also, interview Monday for a second part time job. Wish me luck!

Rough

That’s how I’d describe today. Basically last week they found a lump on one of the dogs that seemed to cause her pain. So the vet looked at it. Biopsied it. Decided it needed to come out. Took it out. Had the pathologist look at it too. Found out it is aggressive cancer. X-rayed the dog. Found it in her lungs. We’re all heart broken. She’s not hurting. But there is no way to know how long she’ll be okay.

Now I feel fragile. JD’s been taking care of me though. But I’m not one of those people who think it’s “just a dog”. So I’m not sure when I’ll feel better.

My Life

Here’s the current rundown:

I’m 25. And a half.

I live in PA and work in retail. The second part is  just as awesome as it sounds.

I’ve been with my boyfriend, JD, for nearly 3 years. Its not always peaches and cream but I love him.

I like to crochet. I find it relaxing. I’m not up to doing anything too fancy yet though.

I also like to cook. I don’t get to do too much of that lately. Its a bummer.

The only baseball team for me is the StL Cardinals. I was sad when they were eliminated from the playoffs.

SO anyway. The most recent exciting thing to happen to me was that my car was hit by a girl in a truck in the walmart parking lot. I’m so not a fan of this happening. I’m currently waiting for the adjustor to come look at it. In the meantime, I decided that it had been far too long since I had written very much here.

It just seems like there’s so little time and so little things to talk about.

A few weeks ago, (ok it was really the beginning of October) We all went to the local festival (it celebrates apples, YUM) but we didn’t actually have any apples. Oops. But the festival has the best craft show ever, there are all sorts of vendors and some of my favorite things I saw were the booths that had dog themed items. We saw one booth that did all sorts of custom leashes and collars and such. I’ll have to see if I can find their business card again because I loved their stuff. Another booth was run by a little old grandma type lady, and she had made a ton of stuffed dog toys, dog beds, hot pads for putting pots on, hanging dish towels, and these dog beds. The most amazing part was her prices. The dog toys were , small dog beds were $5 and the large dog bed was $8.She hand made everything and I still dont know how she made any money. My best guess is that she does it because she loves it.

We’re reaching JD’s favorite time of year. Small game season starts tomorrow, and I’ve been directed to try to make it by walmart to pick up some shotgun shells for him before I go to work. I made him write down what it is Im looking for, because its really not my area of expertise. JD also runs meat shoots and those start this weekend and run through the end of November, in time for bear and deer season, which he loves dearly.

Also, congratulations to my cousin who was recently married, and to my Kansas friends who just had their first baby boy.
